Mountfield, Ballot
A rather VFX intensive TV spot for one of the largest garden-equipment manufacturer and distributor in the Czech Republic, Mountfield. Our responsibility was on-set supervision and complete CGI environment creation and placement. This time the whole 3D camera matching process was even more difficult due to the fact that we were shooting against a moving green-screen background on a dolly on the opposite side to the camera. We ended up tracking and solving the camera using a mixture of techniques ranging from more traditional 3D tracking to a bit more experimental motion tracking from on-set supervision cameras and in-house made tracking gizmos mounted on the camera. All the shots were then graded and comped in 2D at I/O Post.
